Alice in Wonderland Caterpillar Print: John Tenniel Vintage Art

Discover the whimsy and charm of Lewis Carroll’s timeless tale with this beautifully crafted Alice in Wonderland classic print featuring the iconic Caterpillar. In a striking black and white illustration inspired by John Tenniel’s original artwork, the Caterpillar is depicted relaxed and contemplative, smoking a hookah atop a mushroom, while Alice peers curiously from behind. The charming quote, "- at least I know who I was when I got up this morning...", adds a playful and introspective touch, making this piece a delightful addition to any Wonderland enthusiast’s collection.

What truly sets this print apart is the choice of high-quality materials. Instead of the usual synthetic paper used in digital prints, I’ve selected Mi-Teintes® paper—a luxurious, acid-free cardboard produced by Canson®, a renowned French art supplies manufacturer. This premium paper’s high cotton content and textured surface beautifully enhance the details of the illustration, giving the print a genuine, handcrafted feel and ensuring its durability over time. Every print is meticulously re-drawn to closely resemble the original artwork, making it a true work of art rather than a simple reproduction.

Perfect for framing and display, this Alice in Wonderland wall art makes a thoughtful gift for book lovers, vintage art collectors, or anyone enchanted by Wonderland’s whimsical world. Easy to care for—simply frame and enjoy—the print adds an artistic, nostalgic touch to your home decor. Whether for a special occasion or a personal treat, this timeless piece captures the magic of Lewis Carroll’s story in a way that will be treasured for years to come.
